My goal is to provide a safe, comforting, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself and openly discuss the pieces you are challenged by.
Individual counselling can help you recognize triggers, challenge assumptions and learn healthy ways to cope when symptoms become overwhelming.
I practice with a person-centred, evidenced-base approach with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Trauma-Informed Care.
This is an opportunity for me to get to know you, "the headline" that brings you to therapy and how your past and current experiences lend influence to who you are today. Initial sessions are 50 minutes in length.
We collaborate on goals and shape an approach to address the symptoms and concerns affecting you. We can draw on past strengths and assess progress. You set the agenda for each session we have. Subsequent sessions are 50 minutes in length.
